Myanmar Post and Telecommunication (MPT) is a state owned enterprise in Myanmar under the supervision of Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. It monopolizes the mobile and land line phone communication, internet service providing and postal service until 2013. Telenor Group of Norwegian and Ooredoo of Qatar are granted licenses to operate nationwide network including mobile and internet for 15 years in 2013.
